Dr. just prescribed Flagyl for ten days then to follow with Diflucan. My son is 12 and autisic and does not swallow pills, We began the Flagyl yesterday in am, he old took a small part and spit out the rest. Can we compound this medicine in cream or patch? Liquid won't work either. In the past we always had to get shots at dr. office to get meds in him. Will also be taking b-12 shots in next few weeks, can we get these possibly in shot form? Please give me your ideas. Thanks |

I can make the Flagyl in a suspension that will not have a bad taste like the tablets do. It can be flavored bubble gum, strawberry, chocolate, etc. I don't think we would get good levels in the cream and I can't do a patch. We could put it in a suppository as well. I do not make anything in an injection, but I can send you to someone who can make it into an injection. I hope this helps. |
